Terms and Conditions for SevaConnect

1. Introduction

Welcome to SevaConnect, an initiative by Umeed Social and Economic Development. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the SevaConnect platform and services, including our website, mobile application, e-learning platform, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using SevaConnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Definitions

"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the SevaConnect platform.
"NGO" refers to Non-Governmental Organizations registered on our platform.
"Donation" refers to any monetary contribution made through our platform.
"Volunteering" refers to any service offered by users to NGOs through our platform.
"E-learning" refers to any educational content, courses, or materials provided through our platform.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Donations

4.1. All donations made through SevaConnect are final and non-refundable, except in cases of demonstrable error or fraud.
4.2. SevaConnect acts as a facilitator between donors and NGOs. We may charge a nominal processing fee to cover operational costs.
4.3. We make reasonable efforts to ensure donations reach their intended recipients, but we cannot guarantee how donations will be used by recipient NGOs.

5. Volunteering

5.1. Users offering volunteer services through SevaConnect do so at their own risk.
5.2. SevaConnect does not conduct background checks on volunteers or students and is not liable for any actions of either party.
5.3. Users agree to honor their volunteer commitments or provide reasonable notice of cancellation.

6. E-learning

6.1. Access to e-learning content may require registration, as specified for each course or material.
6.2. All e-learning content is for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or public display of course materials without prior written consent is prohibited.
6.3. SevaConnect and its content providers retain all intellectual property rights to the e-learning materials.
6.4. We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date e-learning content, but we make no warranties regarding its completeness, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.

7. User Content

7.1. You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service.
7.2. By posting content, you grant SevaConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute such content on our platform.
7.3. You agree not to post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:
8.1. Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
8.2. Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation.
8.3. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
8.4. Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SevaConnect and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SevaConnect, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to users. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
